Jumping Worms Invade US

So, in case watching jumping frogs wasn’t your thing, here come the jumping worms…

The Amynthas agrestis, also known as the Asian jumping worm, has the ability to launch itself a foot into the air and is worrying experts everywhere. These high-jumping worms are usually only found in Asia, but, oh goody, they can now be found on our shores. There have been reports of jumping worms in California, Wisconsin AND in New England. So, pretty much everywhere.

Why are these worms bad? Well, they are hungry little bastards, and eat a lot, including a lot of vegetation that other bugs and animals need. Oh, and if these worms weren’t bad enough, they’re hermaphrodites, which means they don’t need another worm to make little worms.

In other news, I will never sleep again.
