Spend the Night with Frank! ‘Rocky Horror’ Castle Now a Hotel

Let’s say your car broke down while you were out driving in a downpour- where would you stay? Thankfully, there’s a light over at the Frankenstein Place.

Oakley Court, the castle where they filmed The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1975 is now a hotel. Let Riff help you with your luggage while Magenta helps you with your clothes. Drink a toast to absent friends. You can do it all at Oakley Court. (And they’re located only 20 minutes from Heathrow.)

Parts of the film were also filmed inside the hotel, including the entryway with the staircase and the dining room where dinner was… served.

The hotel is even planning a Time Warp weekend, complete with full English breakfast, tea and a midnight screening of the film. (Unfortunately, the 2020 celebration was just another of the things ruined by Covid, but there are plans afoot for a 2021 celebration.)

We’ll see you in the pool!
