If there’s one thing children like, it’s cool, suave, slick super spies. Thankfully the Book-on-tape company Kids Stuff were on top of it in the 1980s. They ended up releasing 5 of these things.
Look, who can’t love the Bond films, but… when you remove all of the sex and try to dial down the violence… what’s left? Well, now you can find out for yourself.
These are surreal. If you know the plots of the film, it’s fascinating to see the Nazi experiments removed from A View to a Kill, the multiple sex partners of The Spy Who Loved Me and Bond’s joining of Al-Queda in The Living Daylights. Are they still Bond? Who are we to say.
