NASA Sends Nudes

Let’s say you’ve just encountered some new life form, maybe even located in another galaxy. How do you get their attention? How about you send them some nudes?

In an approach that can only be described as, “it worked on Tinder once,” NASA scientists are sending out into space a signal designed to reach extra terrestrials deep inside the Milky Way. The signal will include all sorts of information about the human race, including pictures of a naked man and woman because, well, who doesn’t want something to look at while they read about all the mathematical advances we have made?

The project is known as Beacon in the Galaxy (or BITG) and hopefully will intrigue another life form to swipe right, and come down and probe us.

Isn’t science fun?
