Haven’t Had COVID Yet? You’re Probably a Loser

With the COVID-19 pandemic not really quite in the rear view mirror yet, a doctor in Korea has an interesting take on the whole thing.

When writing on the cesspool that is Facebook, the doctor wrote that any adult who hasn’t contracted the potentially fatal virus “are those with interpersonal problems.” Believe it or not, the post blew up and the doctor quickly deleted it, but not before it spread world wide just like… um… something… we can’t remember.

The doctor later apologized, saying that it was a metaphor, but clearly, it was a really bad metaphor. (Leave the metaphors and similes to those of us who went to art school and wrote mid-term papers in college on John Hughes and The Breakfast Club.

Meanwhile, in the exact same country where this doctor lives and practices, 400,741 new cases were diagnosed the same day as the post. And, because the world is terrible and there’s nothing we can do to stop this particular brand of misery, Korea is planning on dropping any mask requirements in the coming days.
