Celebrating World Naked Gardening Day

The weekend is finally upon us. The sun is shining. And, if you’re interested, you can take off your pants.

Yes, it’s World Naked Gardening Day where, the only thing you have to do to participate is wear nothing. Go ahead, water those flowers sans a shirt, plant that shrub without socks and, of course weed the flower bed with nothing on at all.

The event was created as a prank, with participants riding around in a van and quickly jumping out to do some gardening au natural, but quickly both gardeners and non-gardeners alike quickly latched onto the idea. Ever since 2005, people all over the world have been taking off their pants to help the plants.

There are no forms to fill out, or groups to join, but we do recommend gloves if handling thistles.
