How Do You Make An International Shipping Crisis Funny?

Just in case you haven’t seen this already…

There is a cargo ship currently stuck in the Panama Canal and it’s not great. Experts in such matters are doing all they can to try to remove the ship because, it’s not just that one ship that’s being effected. Looking at the overview map, you can see how many other ships are now waiting in line to get through the canal. And this has been going on for over a week now. It’s not funny.

But you want to know what is funny? This ship’s travel pattern BEFORE it got stuck. Some folks did some digging around on-line and found the ship’s tracking data and found this:

Maybe we just have a dirty mind, but that REALLY looks like a… Well, we bet you can figure it out.

So, while a huge disruption in international shipping isn’t funny, at least we have this tracking map to giggle at while people way smarter than us try to fix things at the canal.
