Japanese Baseball Team Unveils Amazing New Mascot

The Chiba Lotte Marines in Japan have just unveiled a new mascot that, frankly, puts the vast majority of MLB mascots to shame.

This fish is a cheerleader par excellence and, who includes a dramatic scene as part of his performance. What kind of dramatic scene you ask? Well, at multiple times during the game, the fish will vomit up either it’s own spine, or the spine of another fish that it has eaten (we can’t completely figure it out,) and that barfed up spine will do it’s own dance routine.

The team says they will be returning this fish back to the sea in a few weeks, so we can only hope that he will be back later in the season, and that baseball teams in the US will be shamed into really upping their mascot game.
