The Ballad of Kathy Valentine

Let’s be honest, everyone wants to talk to a member of the Go-Gos. And, we, as the hosts of Why are no exception. So, imagine our delight when we found out that bassist extraordinaire Kathy Valentine was releasing a new book AND there was a new documentary about the band AND they were touring this summer, well, we were excited. And we became devoted to trying to get her onto our show.

Sometimes we have conversations over text that we wish we could share. So here it is, our back-and-forth after we e-mailed Kathy and asked her to come on our show. And if she’s reading this, hi Kathy, we would love to have you come on our show and talk about your book.
