Even More Star Wars Christmas Magic

If watching the Star Wars Holiday TV special wasn’t enough for your Wookie-loving heart, well, no need to despair- there’s more where that came from.

Hot on the heels of the rousing success that was the TV special, just in time for the 1980 holiday season came Christmas Among the Stars, the Christmas album nobody asked for.

The album was recorded only two months before it was released and included the single “What Do You Get A Wookie For Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb?” The track, “R2-D2 We Wish You A Merry Christmas” features not only Anthony Daniels as CP-30, it also features a lead vocal from Jon Bon Jovi before he became THAT Jon Bon Jovi.

StarWars.com has compiled 10 fun facts about this album, in case you were looking for such things. And the Star Wars Trilogy site has the whole album posted, so you can listen to and enjoy every single track as you watch the snowflakes fall.
