Enjoy Your Redundancy: Man Brings Clown to Firing

When Josh Thompson got the dreaded call to schedule a meeting in the boss’s office, he could read the tea leaves. He was told he could bring someone to support him in this time of difficulty. So he brought a birthday clown named Joe.What better way to deal with being laid off than while the person doing the firing is holding a balloon dog?

Josh’s firing has gotten coverage all over the world and, while we’re not the first, we would like to join in the congratulating of Josh as he takes the first step in his new life.

There will likely be another blog post in the future, where we will discus why, with all the clown names in the world, you would pick Joe, but that’s a discussion for another day.
