Episode 77- Boober Eats with Shon Boulden

In the mood for some delivery tonight but nothing on the Grub Hub menu striking your fancy or even come close to lifting you from the doldrums of the day? Well, if you’re in the Portland, Oregon area we may have just what you’re looking for. Lucky Devil Eats a.k.a. Boober Eats.

The Lucky Devil Lounge, a well-known Portland strip club and bar, was recently faced with having to revamp their business model during the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than shut their doors completely during this time causing the owner to be forced to have to lay off all of the staff and dancers, they came up with a resourceful way to keep everyone working as well as bring some smiles and excitement to quarantined customers everywhere. Thus, Boober Eats was born.

Customers can place an order for food from the Lucky Devil’s extensive restaurant menu for delivery. The meal is then delivered to their doorstep by two beautiful, scantily clad dancers and their bodyguard. For those who are regulars at the club, there’s even the option to place a request for a favorite dancer to be part of the delivery team. Those ready to partake in the Lucky Devil Eats experience will pay a $30 delivery fee, which goes directly to the delivery team. Not a bad deal to get your favorite chicken strips and brought to you by your favorite chicks when you think about it.

We had the chance to talk to Lucky Devil Lounge owner Shon Boulden. Shon is also the architect behind this clever and resourceful service that hasn’t just captured the hearts, eyes, and stomachs of hungry Portlanders, it’s also quickly hit the radar of national news outlets drawing extensive coverage from the likes of Rolling Stone, Entrepreneur and many more. We don’t know how we charmed him into talking to us, but hey it worked.

We had a great chat with Shon learning about how he got into the adult entertainment industry in the first place and how Lucky Devil Eats has been able to help keep his team making some money during this time.

He also shared with us some of the crazy stories the dancers have experienced during their deliveries. There have been unusual requests for attire and unusual greetings from customers as they came to the door to get their food.

For those wondering if the dancers are following safety precautions during this pandemic, the answer is absolutely. They may be sporting thigh highs, boy shorts and little else, but that little else includes a mask and gloves and all deliveries are contactless.

If you’re looking to place an order in the Portland area you can do so by visiting here. For those elsewhere in the world, even though you may be out of luck on getting a delivery, you can still check out some of the great videos on the website. Not to mention, if you ever get to Portland, The Lucky Devil could be a must hit spot on your to do list!
