Trump Baby Balloon to Live on in Museum

One of the few highlights of President Trump’s UK visit was seeing the giant inflatable Trump baby balloon inflated by protestors. In case, for reasons we can’t begin to understand, you want to relive the bad ol’ days and want to see the balloon even if Trump is no longer in office, you’re in luck.

The balloon will now be displayed at the Museum of London, alongside other ephemera related the protestors who dogged the US president during his trip to the UK. The balloon gained attention when the mayor of the city gave permission for it to fly. Afterwards it traveled to the US where it also appeared at several protests state-side.

Museum director Sharon Ament said, “By collecting the baby blimp we can mark the wave of feeling that washed over the city that day and capture a particular moment of resistance — a feeling still relevant today as we live through these exceptionally challenging times — that ultimately shows Londoners banding together in the face of extreme adversity.”
